Pork Sukiyaki: SM Markets | Fresh

Vermicelli Noodles
Shiitake Mushroom

  1. In a pot over medium heat, add 2tbsp sake, 1/4 cup mirin, 1tbsp brown sugar and 1/4 cup soy sauce. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Soak a bundle of dried vermicelli noodles in water for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in the pan. Add 2 scallions, sliced pork abnd drizzle sukiyaki sauce. Fry meat for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Using same pan, add rest of sukiyaki sauce and 2 cups stock. Bring to a boil. Add 1/2 block firm tofu, 5 shiitake mushrooms,
  5. cups napa cabbage and 2 cups tong ho.
  6. Remove cover and add pork back to the pot. Sprinkle with chopped scallions.
